There will be one Division this season

final season standings determined by, in
tie-breaking order: a) won/lost record of teams; b) record between teams tied
except for 1st place - See (d); c) record against 1st place team and d) in case
of tie(s) for 1st place, a sudden death game(s) will take place. Coin toss for
home field.
Injuries
and pitching rotation
will apply. Three or four way ties will result in two or three games

The top eight
teams will take part in post-season play

All
playoff rounds will be 4 out of 7 series. In the first round, the
top team will play the eighth place team, second
plays seventh and so on. Home field
advantage will be determined by winning percentage.

Each subsequent round
will be the same format with the best won/loss %age team having home field for
games 1, 2, 6 and 7

injuries and pitching restrictions apply
through-out the play-offs. It was decided that at season's end 2 "ghost
games" would be added to allow teams
to juggle rotation for the playoffs. Starters, relievers and injuries would be
affected by this new rule

25 man roster to be named prior to start
of post-season

minor leaguers may be brought up in case
of injury and must return when injured player returns. Any player can be called
up. Player movement can only be done between games not during

Players with less than 200 ABs can start
in case of injury at injured player's position only

platoon players can start a maximum of 3
games per series in the play-offs

bonuses are given to teams that win
quickly in the playoffs rounds. For example if Team A wins their 1st round in 4
games and is to meet Team B, who won their 1st round in 6 games, then Team A
would be able to adjust his pitching and injuries by 2 "ghost
games". These bonuses would be over
and above the 2 "ghost" games from Rule # 6 above. This allows for real life
waiting for the next round.
