Harpoons unimpressed with john lackey and pound pinheads into submission in season opener 19-0! strato veteran carries momentum into 2nd game of series and takes series honors 2-1. top pin's season starting slump halted by 2nd round steal Josh beckett in game 3. an emotional martin wickham sends the surge GM surge choquette a bouquet of flowers and a weekends stay at l'auberge des carrefours in cowansville, recently acquired by taiwan native, som tin wong. 'we had a deal. if he didn't drop beckett, i'd put him up for the weekend and let surge do what he wanted to josh. I figured i'd get it out of the way immediately.' In a related story, kevin mench is spending the weekend at l'auberge des carrefours, along with roch voisine, stephane richer and dennis rodman.

defending champs begin new season with 2 big wins against hunters. Big tom's clan narrowly avoid sweep by squeaking out game 3 win in 14 innings! 

2008-2009 season underway, the big chief busts out of the gate sweeping the ironsides in expos94's home opener on wellington street!
